Be it in Nigeria or in Germany, the Euro-African musician resident in Cologne Adé Bantu has through his live grooves moved many audiences into swinging their hips and has combined this feat with political messages. And now in the context of a tour, he presents his self titled debut album “Bantu”. On stage the five member back up crew perfectly epitomises Bantu’s mix of Hiphop, Afrobeat, Dancehall and Reggae.
It was Adé who in 2001 caused a sensation Germany-wide with the project “Brothers Keepers”. Through his musical gigs Adé is now set to integrate his musical potential as well as his skills of high demanding entertainment on stage. At various concert, festivals as well as musical projects where he has performed with a variety of artists like Youssou N’Dour, Afro Cuban Allstars, Brothers Keepers and Patrice, he has gained enormous experience which marks him out as one of the best and adventurous artists within the boundaries of Reggae and Hiphop music.
